PROMOTING THE INTERESTS OF WOMEN HISTORIANS
Information on the 2021 OAH Lerner-Scott Prize, which is given annually for the best doctoral dissertation in U.S. women’s history, is now available on the OAH website.
A dissertation must be completed during the period July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 to be eligible for the 2021 Lerner-Scott Prize. The deadline for applications is October 1, 2020.
The Western Association of Women Historians was founded in 1969 to promote the interests of women historians both in academic settings and in the field of history generally. The WAWH is the largest of the regional women's historical associations in the United States.
