  • Barbara “Penny” Kanner Prize – the best scholarly bibliographical and historical guide to research focused on women or gender history – or critical editions of autobiography(ies)
  • Frances Richardson Keller-Sierra Prize – best monograph in the field of history
  • Gita Chaudhuri Prize– best monograph on women in rural environments.
  • Carol Gold Graduate Student Conference Paper Prize – the outstanding paper presented by a graduate student at the annual WAWH conference

The WAWH is the largest of the regional women's historical associations in the United States.
