The WAWH is excited to announce our first fully in-person conference since 2019! The conference in Portland will be a fantastic opportunity to renew acquaintances, see old friends, and meet new ones.

The Call for Proposals has closed.
The Program Committee is hard at work planning an intellectually stimulating conference. Applicants may expect to hear from the committee by late December.
Panelists whose proposals are accepted for inclusion in the 2024 conference program will be required to purchase membership. Panelists will not be permitted to register and will not be included in the printed program without it. Annual membership fees range from $25 to $60. Participants must also register for the conference prior to participation.*

The Western Association of Women Historians recognizes and celebrates members' achievements. Awards and prizes are presented during the Awards Banquet at the annual conference. CLICK HERE to learn more about WAWH awards.
