Graduate Student Posters

Posters sessions are an interactive forum where...

graduate students share their research through a mixture of text and graphics on a physical poster. During the session, presenters discuss their work with conference attendees. In sharing their research with conference attendees, graduate student presenters have the opportunity to receive valuable feedback from advanced scholars in a supportive and low-pressure environment.

Timing

Sessions are 30 - 45 minutes in length (+ set up time) on both Friday and Saturday.

Eligibility

  • Poster presenter must be a student who is enrolled in a graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.

  • Poster presenters must be present and available to interact with observers during the scheduled Friday & Saturday poster sessions.

  • Poster presenters must be WAWH members at the time of the conference and must be registered to participate.

  • All fields of history will be considered.

  • Posters selected for presentation will be on display for the duration of the conference.

  • Poster size is limited to a maximum of 36"x48" trifold cardboard display or 36" in any direction for flat posters.
