At this FREE workshop you'll hear from WAWH Perry Poster Award winners Faith Stackhouse Daly and Tara Madhav as they share tips for creating and presenting a successful conference poster. 

Poster proposals are part of the conference application process so consider also attending the Conferences 101 session on August 28th. 

All posters will be considered for the  Mary Elizabeth “Betsy” Perry Graduate Student Poster Award ($150).

Dr. Regina Lark leads an interactive conversation that challenges common assumptions about emotional labor, from the everyday work of anticipating needs and smoothing tensions to the added load so often placed on women of color, queer colleagues, and first-generation academics. Come away with new language for what you're experiencing and practical tools you can use right away.

Regina Lark, Ph.D., CPO® first joined the WAWH as a graduate student in 1992, and rejoined in the mid-20-teens.  She is the founder of A Clear Path, a professional organizing and estate services company, and speaks nationally on the psychology of clutter, burnout, and emotional labor. She is co-author of Emotional Labor: Why a Woman's Work Is Never Done and What To Do About It (2nd ed. 08/2026), and she brings both academic grounding and decades of hands-on experience to her work on the invisible labor that shapes our lives.
