Individual Papers

Individual papers refer to:

one presenter who would like to read a written scholarly paper at the conference but is not part of a composed panel.

In the selection process, preference will be given to complete panels but individual papers will be selected and placed with existing panels as space and relevancy permits.

Timing

  • Individual presenters should plan on speaking for no more than 15 minutes. If your paper is assigned to a panel, the chair/commenter may ask for a shorter presentation depending on the number of presenters.

We strongly encourage participants interested in submitting an individual paper to instead seek out fellow presenters for collaboration in a panel using the collaboration spreadsheet link.

To submit, you will need to enter into the Submission Form:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Paper Title
  • Panel Abstract (200 words)
  • A/V requirements (laptops not provided)
  • current occupation
  • title or position
  • institutional or business affiliation
  • 150-word bio

Submission Deadline: October 16, 2023

Questions about the submission should be directed to the 2024 Program Committee at ConferenceProgram@wawh.org.
